Lauren Chivers, a Portsmouth Fashion and Textile Design student, chose to do a Placement+ year where she completed a number of short-term placements. Working at Holly Fulton and Paul Smith gave Lauren experience of working at a small company and a much larger business. We are so excited to hear that Hannah Mitchell, former Fashion and Textile Design placement student, was highly commended in the Boux Avenue Swimwear & Lingerie Award category at Graduate Fashion Week in London. The judges were Debbie Duckett (Boux Avenue), Alex Paphitis (Boux Avenue) and Caroline Rothwell (Boux Avenue).
Hannah completed a Self-employment Placement Year (SPY) in 2015-16 running her own lingerie business, Hayze Designs.
