Kieran Knight graduated from Computer Animation in 2017 and won the IBM Award for Best Creative Technologies Project at the School of Creative Technologies Graduate Awards. Kieran completed a placement year in 2015-16 and now works for world-renowned visual effects company, Foundry.

CCI Students Awarded for Creativity

CCI students continue to impress employers with showcasing their creativity. Hampshire-based recruitment agency, Solutions 4 Recruitment celebrated the 2017 Creative Student Awards Final which is designed to recognise and celebrate the plethora of creative talent across the UK.  Nearly 50 shortlisted entries, 10,000 votes and 5 shortlisted finalists later, the CS Award 16/17 winner was announced to be our very own BA (Hons) Interior Architecture student Jodie Howard.

Former fashion placement student “Highly Commended” at Graduate Fashion Week

We are so excited to hear that Hannah Mitchell, former Fashion and Textile Design placement student, was highly commended in the Boux Avenue Swimwear & Lingerie Award category at Graduate Fashion Week in London. The judges were Debbie Duckett (Boux Avenue), Alex Paphitis (Boux Avenue) and Caroline Rothwell (Boux Avenue).

Hannah completed a Self-employment Placement Year (SPY) in 2015-16 running her own lingerie business, Hayze Designs.

Alice and Kerry are two Illustration students on a Self-Employment Placement Year (SPY) where they have set up a website, The Visual Spill, “your new online resource for all your illustration needs!”

We wanted to share with you their interview with Tariq Alsaadi, a freelance graphic designer, who grew up in Syria and wants to:

“…inspire people with my art works especially now because it’s a hard time for this world so I try and make the people feel that we are the same, we are just born in different place but we didn’t choose that.”
