In this day and age of your digital footprint being firmly ingrained in our everyday life, employers will be looking at your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and yes – Twitter!
Something that is really important on your placement search is working out if the job is right for you.
I’m sure you’ve had your CV checked by so many people by now. I bet it’s tip-top and ready to go…
Elizabeth Smallwood, the Placement and Employability Ambassador with Creative Careers 2017/18, looks back over the past year at her role and looks forward to the great things to come!
Creative Careers has been a fantastic part of my final year that I will never forget.
When you are applying for jobs and placements, unfortunately one of the unwanted side effects is sometimes you don’t get the job you were after – and it happens to everyone, I promise!
So you’ve secured your interview – fantastic! It’s now time to prepare your answers to their potential questions! But when the end of the interview comes around and they ask:
‘Do you have any questions?’
Make sure you are prepared!
As the end of the year drawers closer, if you haven’t found your dream placement by now, I know it can be very demotivating. But, don’t give up hope!
